Meet the Team – Interview 2 (Murder on the Dance Floor Character)

Our second ‘Meet the Team’ interview of the week with Event Manager Josephine. Working alongside Norma (interviewed yesterday) towards the ‘Costumes and Cocktails’ party on Monday! Let’s see what she has to say…

Qujosephine-picestion: Name?

Josephine: Josephine Jones

Question: Where are you from?

Josephine: Born and brought up in Hong Kong! We live on Lamma Island and I love it!

Question: What do you love about Hong Kong?

Josephine: I love how diverse the landscape is. One minute you’re by the beach, the next you’re in the city, the next you’re in a mountain range – it’s all so easily accessible too. That was something I missed when I went travelling and I appreciate it much more now.

Question: Any romance in your life?

Josephine: Ha ha…romance? What’s that? Unfortunately not, but I’m open to offers!

Question: What’s your role at Better by Miles Events?

Josephine: I’m the other Event Manager. I was there a while before Norma joined, at which point the company was doing really well and needed an additional Events Manager because of the rate of business they were getting in. Since then business became a little quieter so we often have to work together now whereas we used to manage our own events separately.

Question: How long have you worked for Miles Better Events?

Josephine: Four years now. I started as an intern when I graduated from doing my Events and Hospitality degree (I went to uni late!) and worked my way up to this position. I used to go to a lot of music festivals with my parents when I was young, the goal is to run my own festivals…Clockenflap watch out! 😉

Question: What’s your favourite colour?

Josephine: Green.

Question: What do you do in your spare time?

Josephine: I love music. I listen to music all the time and love watching live music, professional or amateur I don’t mind! I play the guitar too. I used to write songs but I rarely get the time for that anymore!

Question: Anything else to say to your party guests?

Josephine: Looking forward to seeing you all! Let us know if you’ve got any song requests by posting on Facebook here
